Is there a kind of inventory from who is racing with which sailplan?
Same for the following points: - how many boats are using a roller/Tuff luff or hanked on - which kinds of props are being used, Darglow or fixed two bladed -..... |

Hi Christophe,
there is no inventory to hand, however I keep a database of all the new sail certificates issued as part of me role as measurer so I could make an inventory given the time to research it. To answer your question, the vast majority of regular racing Co32's in the Solent are now racing with laminate headsails under the new rule. A small number (3?) have also invested in a laminate mainsail. The small number (2?) of boats racing under the old sails rule are in the process of getting quotes to have new laminate sails for the 2015 season. Hope this answers the question. |

I would say that half the boats use a roller furling system and half use hanks or foil.
Most but not all boats are using a Darglow feathering prop. |
