Please could someone give me the standard Co32 FL measurement so I can get the best CYCA handicap? It is defined as forestay length measured from where the forestay meets the deck to the forestay attachment point on the front of the mast.
I can't find a drawing with it on, contacting JR by email and phone has got me answers but not to the question, and it has not been the weather to go up and measure.
Thanks, Janet (Jaywalker)

Janet
I may be able to work it out from the drawings I used to produce the PDFs in the technical part of the site. It will not be absolutely accurate as i have been converting poor quality copies to Autocad but should be able to get within 50mm or so by using the known measurements such as the boom length.
Will post tomorrow as the files are on my Office Computer!

Finally had time to do some check measurements from drawings.
Taking into account the fact that the 'original' drawings are rather ancient and fish like I have calculated that the forestay is 11.895 metres long (mast attachment to deck) which compares quite well with the minimum and maximum lengths of No1 Luff of 11.128m & 11.585m respectively.
My calculations should not be relied upon - better to get someone up the mast!

Thanks very much Colin. I was running out of time to get the handicap to enter the race, so have just gone with the standard furler allowance. If we take up racing, maybe will apply for the extra, if any, next year. John up the mast at the moment I hope, replacing the VHF/Windex which fell off, but he's on his own so FL measuring not really on. Janet (Jaywalker)
