I intend to replace the batteries in Quest and intend to fit a Sterling advanced digital regulator with a 70 amp hr alternator. According to Sterling the best choice of battery would be a flooded wet cell battery as opposed to a sealed unit.

However should I be concerned about leakage when heeled ? If anyone has experience of this I would welcome their input-Thanks, Nick

We had the same advice (Stick to good wet cells) from Barden Power and do not regret it.
Sterling know their onions.
Never had a problem with healing and would not expect it: the filler caps are at centre top, and are effectively sealed other than small breather.
I guess in extremes the corner of plates could be exposed but if healing that much you would definitely not be charging...
