Hi - I was considering fitting the Deckring Assembly but have been quoted £897 + VAT from JR!! Does anyone know of a cheaper option??

I'm sorry to say that sounds about right, I think the deck ring itself is quite expensive.

Hi - There must be many methods but this one has worked o.k. for me. It consists of a standard rail from Selden. The middle bolt is connected to the mast inside with a bottle screw or similar. Picture to follow if I can figure out how to do it.

Not at all. The mast attachment is made up in the workshop and riveted to the mast inside. The link is attached to this via set screw or t-bar which is the norm. I will take pictures when next on the boat if you're interested where all will be revealed.
