Hi - has anyone any ideas/suggestions on replacing the locker lids and teak in cockpit? The teak on Ella has become squidgy and water is leaking into the Pilot berth.
Many thanks
Anna

If doing it again I would be very tempted to go for the plastic fake teak that now looks totally realistic.   Why - mostly because it will be easier to keep clean.   It will cost about the same as real teak.

Are you sure it's the teak? in my case at least the screw heads in the quarter berth were all glassed over. I ended up grinding the screw threads off from above to replace the teak. w The water that appeared in the quarter berth was from window leaks tracking along the coach roof liner. I suspect there's also a deck leak as there's still some moisture after the windows were resealed.
Having said that, a nice laid teak cockpit makes a real difference to the boat and is easier to clean than the old teak slats that collected grit and other muck between and under the edges.
