Has any one had any experience of fitting a calorifier water heater and pressurised water system ? I would appreciate any input. Thanks, Nick

Yes, Eberspacher D5W fitted behind engine, small calorifier in forward end of cockpit locker with pressure pump and filters above. Fan matrix in the locker by the mast. Circulation hose from local auto shop. Many bits sourced on eBay, some new, some used, only regret was to buy exhaust insulation that way, ended up going to Eberspacher dealer locally and getting the real thing. All works nicely, and makes those winter chores and washing up much more pleasant! It's a time consuming job that needs planning, patience and a certain amount of dexterity working in the locker and engine bay. One thing to watch is that I created a nice little water trap in the bottom of the locker under the calorifier which is difficult to keep clean. Aslo be careful where you drill through the bulkhed, otherwise you create a water path from the cockpit locker into the galley etc.
Give me a call or eMail for more details / pics.
